BMW 435i - BMW took advantage this week of the first media presentation of the Series 4 Portugal (we will try late September car) to reveal the M Performance equipment dedicated to this new Series 4 but the M Performance Pack and 435i M Performance.
The new version of M Performance Pack consists of an aerodynamic kit which draws its inspiration and design elements in the future M4. Thus we find a new specific Av blade shield with carbon fiber, low gloss black boxes, Ar shield with redesigned diffuser and two air extractors, Av splitter, a rear spoiler and door mirror fiber atoms. The abandoned car chrome chrome for shiny black chrome (grille, boomerang wing Av, around the windows).
The 435i M Performance is placed on the new 20-inch alloy wheels (style 405M Double Spoke) pavements 225/35 R 20 front and 255/30 R 20 at the rear. The braking system is modified, strengthened especially with larger 18-inch discs calipers with 4 pistons Av and painted red. BMW announces new system to be more efficient than "normal" range. The car is based on a strengthened and sport suspension lowered by 10 mm. A great novelty is the arrival of an optional differential limited to 30% that will please many béhèmistes slip. Finally, the 435i M Performance or other models can be adorned with stickers M Performance to more sport!
Inside, we find a black leather upholstery, sport seats, a dashboard covered with black alcantara, inserts of carbon fiber, a new three-spoke sports steering wheel with LEDs covered with Alcantara as the handbrake lever, aluminum pedals, floor mats of M and all the elements of M time available in the catalog.
This 435i M Performance sees its engine L6 3.0 L Twin Power Turbo modified and its power increases by 32 hp to go from 306 to 338 hp and torque increased from 400 to 450 Nm To achieve this change, BMW changes the programming the ECU and the exhaust line. The 428i and 420d will also benefit from a motor change the order of 20 to 25 hp for the 428i and 16 hp for the 420d.
BMW gives no indication yet about performance cars but said that the parts kits and 435i M Performance concession will be available sometime in the fall.
